Smokers who are unable to quit smoking with other treatments can now discuss vaping with their family doctor. Your doctor may provide a prescription if it is appropriate for you.
Vaping is now recognised as a legitimate quitting aid by Australia’s peak GP organisation. Vaping is also approved by Australian medical specialists and psychiatrists.
Under Australian law, vapers are required to possess a nicotine prescription from a registered medical practitioner.
